Tav Tabacchi - Broker Associate

PERSONAL PROFILE

Tav Tabacchi has lived in Colorado since 1985 and has spent many years in all aspects of commercial real estate.

For 10 years Tav worked as an executive at SYSCO Foods, where he rose from Data Processing Manager to Executive VP at the Nobel-Sysco operation. At SYSCO Tav was in charge of warehouse, transportation, administration and finance. His duties included overseeing the buildings, including acquisition, construction, renovation and maintenance. At Nobel-Sysco the main warehouse was 300,000 sf and the office was 40,000 sf.

Tav bought Food Products Co after Nobel-Sysco, a specialty foods distributor to King Soopers City Market, Albertsons and Safeway. Their two warehouses totaled 180,000 sf. Tav was President and stockholder. After selling Food Products, Tav started developing commercial real estate in the northwest market, including a 22,000 sf shopping center in Westminster, a 25,000 sf office park in Niwot, a 40,000 sf office building in Lafayette and a 40,000 sf flex office/warehouse in Louisville.

As a landlord and broker Tav understands the needs of both sides of a deal and tries to make every deal a “win – win” situation for both parties.

Tav went to the University of Dayton in Ohio where he earned a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering. He then went to the Wharton School in Philadelphia where he earned his MBA in management and computers. Through the years Tav has attended numerous courses in management, sales and real estate.
